Technical Product Manager

What You’ll Do: 

As the Technical Product Manager at Contractable, you’ll be a driving force behind our innovative software solutions. You’ll be the voice of the customer, translating their needs into products that make their lives easier. 

 Here’s what you’ll be up to: 

  • Developing and maintaining a product roadmap

  • Crafting the Vision: Develop a clear product strategy and roadmap that aligns with Contractable’s mission and market demands. 
  • Championing the Customer: Collaborate with stakeholders and customers to understand their needs and prioritize features that deliver real value. 
  • Leading the Charge: Work closely with our talented development, design, sales and marketing teams to bring your product vision to life. 
  • Driving Innovation: Stay ahead of the curve by researching industry trends and emerging technologies. Establish and nurture strategic relationships, understanding client needs, and effectively communicate the value proposition of our software solutions.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful rollout of features and capabilities and drive a dedicated support and success network for existing customers.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Developing and maintaining a product roadmap 
  • Gathering and prioritizing product requirements 
  • Managing product releases 
  • Collaborating with UX/UI designers on user experience 
  • Monitoring product performance and analyzing market trends 
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across different departments 
  • Conduct technical product demonstrations to showcase the features, functionalities, and benefits of Contractable SaaS software to prospective clients.  Scope customer requirements and map configurable workflows within the platform to meet needs. 
  • Word directly in support of both the revenue and development teams to ensure high quality systems are delivered. Work collaboratively to cultivate and nurture relationships with prospective clients, partners, and key stakeholders.  
  • Produce concise instruction to software developers within DevOps. Conduct meetings with the team to optimise development outcomes.    Ensure the overall quality of the software produced. Establish quality control processes, conduct regular testing and reviews, and enforce industry best practices to guarantee that the software meets the required standards. 
  • Conduct needs assessments to understand clients’ pain points, challenges, and objectives.  Curate the development roadmap in line with commercial opportunities to meet customer needs.  
  • Assist with the preparation and delivery of compelling technical sales presentations, proposals, and pitches to prospective clients. Clearly articulate the benefits and value of the company’s products or services, and address any objections or concerns raised by clients.  
  • Liaise with internal teams, including solutions architects, product development, marketing, and customer support, to ensure alignment and coordination in delivering solutions to clients. Provide feedback and insights from client interactions to inform product development and marketing strategies.  
  • Market Analysis and Insights: Stay informed about construction software industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape. Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging opportunities and threats and adapt business strategies accordingly.  

 

Required Skills: 

  • Experience in project management (e.g., PMP) or Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum Master), especially in software development projects.  
  • A strong understanding of the SaaS software, engineering solution and the digital media marketplace. Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and effectively communicate them to non-technical stakeholders.  
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts clearly and concisely. Strong presentation skills to deliver compelling product demonstrations and sales pitches.  
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyse market trends, identify growth opportunities, and develop effective business strategies.  
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a high degree of adaptability and resilience.  

Other Skills Considered: 

  • Knowledge of relevant Digital / Industry environments, trends and best practices.  
  • Familiarity with CRM software and other sales enablement tools, with the ability to leverage technology to streamline sales processes and improve efficiency.  
  • Industry Awareness: Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in digital technologies.  

   

Success Requirements:

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.  
  • Proven experience in product development and growth, with a track record of success in achieving and exceeding goals.  
  • Relevant industry certifications or training programs may be advantageous.  
  • 3+ years of experience in sales, preferably in a SaaS, Digital Media, Software engineering industries or with similar products or services.
