Software Quality Assurance Tester
What You’ll Do:
As a QA Tester, you will be the quality guardian of our software products. You’ll implement rigorous testing methodologies to identify defects, validate functionality, and ensure exceptional user experiences. Working within our Agile development team, you’ll be the final checkpoint before features reach our customers, directly impacting product reliability and user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on requirements and user stories
- Conduct thorough manual testing across multiple browsers, devices, and operating systems
- Build, maintain, and execute automated test suites using industry-standard frameworks
- Perform different testing types including functional, regression, UI/UX, compatibility, and performance testing
- Document defects with precise reproduction steps, expected vs. actual results, and supporting evidence (screenshots, videos, logs)
- Validate API functionality and performance through structured testing protocols
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives as an integral member of the Agile team
- Advocate for quality throughout the development lifecycle
- Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation and knowledge-based articles
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of hands-on QA experience in web and/or SaaS environments
- Demonstrated proficiency with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
- Experience with API testing tools including Postman, SoapUI, or similar
- Strong command of test management systems and defect tracking tools
- Working knowledge of Git and version control workflows
- Understanding of database concepts and ability to validate data integrity
- Experience testing in Agile environments with exposure to CI/CD pipelines
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical problem-solving abilities
- Strong technical communication skills for articulating complex issues clearly
Technical Skills:
- Testing Tools: Proficiency with JIRA, TestRail, or similar test management systems
- Automation: Experience implementing and maintaining automated test frameworks
- API Testing: Hands-on experience with RESTful API testing methodologies
- Performance Testing: Familiarity with tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or K6
- Environments: Experience testing across multiple browsers, devices, and platforms
Preferred Qualifications:
- ISTQB certification or equivalent quality assurance credentials
- Experience with security testing concepts and tools
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and cloud services (AWS, Azure)
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and log analysis
- Basic understanding of frontend/backend development principles
- Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber or Spec Flow
Performance Metrics:

Education:
